The Sadie Skirt – PDF Sewing Pattern
The Sadie Skirt is the ultimate a-line skirt sewing pattern. Originally designed for me as I needed a denim skirt to add to my wardrobe!
You loved it so much that I decided to bring it out as a sewing pattern so you can create your very own!
The skirt is fitted at the waist and flares out to an A-line silhouette, with beautiful side pocket detail, invisible zip fastening and a ruffle hem it’s such a feminine style!
I also developed two other style options, one without pockets and a panel option. The ruffle hem is optional too!
Step-by-step written instructions and also a YouTube tutorial too.
It is such a versatile design and can be worn throughout the seasons.

The Sadie Skirt is designed for light to medium-weight woven fabrics, such as cotton, chambray, linen, gingham, needlecord, denim, viscose, and crepe chiffon. It can also be made using a heavier weight fabric such as wool and boucle, experiment and have fun.
Skill Level
Sadie is a perfect project for the confident beginner. Learn techniques like adding a waistband, inserting an invisible zipper, adding pockets, topstitching, understitching, and gathering.
The Layers Function
Both Print-at-Home and Print Shop pattern files are included in the layers function!
You can choose to turn on and off any number and combination of pattern sizes to suit your personal needs and preferences. Refer to page 4 of your instructions for how to use this function.
Pattern Files
This pattern comes with an A0 Print Shop Version included so that you don’t have to print and piece your pattern together at home if you prefer! Simply download the A0 version and send it to your preferred print shop.
You will need a software program that reads PDFs like Adobe Reader (which is free to download).
This pattern can be printed on both A4 and US Letter paper.

Once you have purchased your pattern, your download files will be in the YOUR ACCOUNT section, with links to download all of your products.
If you need access to them at a later date, simply login to your account where they will all be stored for you!
Please note: You can download your pattern a maximum of three times, but there is no time limit to download your pattern(s).
