The Dixie dress is the perfect versatile sewing pattern. I have designed this to be worn throughout the year, with the two sleeve lengths making it perfect to adapt to the seasons. There are two dress lengths and also a blouse option too.

Dixie is designed for light to medium-weight woven fabrics, such as cotton, chambray, linen, gingham, needlecord, denim, viscose, and crepe chiffon.
With a pretty ruffle neckline and amazing gathered sleeves, all you have to do is decide which style to make.
It is super versatile and can be dressed up or down for any occasion. You can style it in so many ways and if you need extra inspiration then check out my vlog here!
It is such a feminine design and I know you will love creating your very own versions, and probably will make more than one I can guarantee!
Skill Level
Dixie is a perfect project for the confident beginner. Learn techniques like adding ruffle neckbands, using bias binding, inserting sleeves, adding sleeve facings, and gathering. Dixie can be worn throughout the year – made up in chambray, linen, needlecord, viscose, gingham and most light to medium-weight woven fabrics.

The Layers Function
Both Print-at-Home and Print Shop pattern files are included in the layers function!
You can choose to turn on and off any number and combination of pattern sizes to suit your personal needs and preferences. Refer to page 4 of your instructions for how to use this function.
Pattern Files
This pattern comes with an A0 Print Shop Version included so that you don’t have to print and piece your pattern together at home if you prefer! Simply download the A0 version and send it to your preferred print shop.
You will need a software program that reads PDFs like Adobe Reader (which is free to download).
This pattern can be printed on both A4 and US Letter paper.
