Sewing Blouses, Floral Bias Binding & New Crochet Pattern

In this video, I am chatting about sewing blouses, floral bias binding, and a new crochet pattern that I have been working on. Lots of sewing and crochet inspiration in my weekly youtube vlog.

I love to share with you what I have been sewing this past week and the new outfits that I have created from my wardrobe.

Floral Bias Binding

I have also just added the most amazing and pretty floral bias binding to my shop which you can purchase here! There are 9 pretty colorways to choose from and all of them are floral! They are just so lovely and perfect to add that finishing and pretty touch to your sewing and dressmaking projects. The hardest part is which floral bias binding to choose!

The Grace Collar Crochet Pattern

I have also been working on a new crochet pattern which I am so thrilled with and have also listed it in my shop for you to purchase and download in a handy PDF format.

I love an oversized collar to add to my outfit and I have already created the sewing pattern for The Audrey Collar which is available in my shop here!

So I thought why not design a crochet pattern collar for those of you who prefer to crochet? I knew it had to be larger than the Peter Pan style collar I had already designed and used the Audrey Collar sizing for my inspiration. I made the design to have two closure options, a button loop, or pretty tie detail. It is also a fairly quick crochet project too!

Floral Pussy Bow Blouse

My sewing project included the most amazing blouse that I made with a lovely floral cotton print from Minerva. It is not a colour scheme I would usually go for but I loved the floral design and the orange and grey colours were just perfect to go with my Poppy Pinafore. The fabric is by Art Gallery and its just so gorgeous!

The Poppy Pinafore was my first sewing pattern and I made my version using this burnt orange baby needlecord. The finished blouse was just a perfect match!
