The Dressmakers Closet ships worldwide. 

UK Shipping

Each item is sent 1st class Royal Mail, with a choice of standard or signed for service. You will receive an email notification of your order confirmation and a despatch email once your item is on its way to you.

The Dressmakers Closet is not responsible for any delays with packages once sent, or items that may get lost in the post once sent that are out of my control.

International Shipping

If you order products for delivery outside of the UK, your order will be subject to import duties and taxes, please note that I have no control over these charges and I cannot predict their amount. You will be responsible for the payment of any such import duties and taxes.
Cross-border shipments are also subject to opening and inspection if needed by customs authorities.

Returns

Handmade Garments

I do hope you love your handmade garment as much as I did making it for you. Please ensure that you check the measurements for each garment that you are purchasing against your body measurements to avoid receiving items that do not fit properly.

However, if you got the sizing wrong then I do accept returns.

You have 7 calendar days from the date of receipt to return your item. All returned items must be unworn, with tags, and in perfect condition.

Postage will not be refunded.

To request a return, please contact us at info@thedressmakerscloset.co.uk with your email and order details. A return authorisation and shipping instructions will be emailed to you.

Returns must be shipped with a trackable service and at the customer’s expense. Please notify us once you ship. Import & Customs charges on returns will be deducted from the original sale price.

The Dressmakers Closet reserves the right to refuse the return of any item which does not meet the above requirements. If your return is not accepted, it will be returned to you at your expense and a refund will not be issued.

Pre-loved Garments

Please ensure you check the measurements carefully on the product description before making your order. I try to offer detailed descriptions with accurate measurements to make sure you are getting the best service possible. Due to the items being of a pre-worn nature, I am unable to accept returns on my pre-loved items and all sales are final, please be aware of this before you make a purchase.
